Welcome to the Against the Current Podcast! We Protect how Jesus Protected, We Provide how Jesus Provided , and We are Priest how Jesus was a Priest. Here at Against the Current podcast we believe that there is only one was for us men to achieve our calling to be providers, protectors, and priests and it’s by understanding that we are never able to do any if that alone. We are to copy the ultimate provider, protector, and priest. We are just vessels. Today we’re going to be discussing, What is the point of suffering? Why do we suffer as Christian’s and how should we respond Big Idea: We suffer because it is the only way we grow. God wants us to grow in character, maturity and faith in Him. He knows that at some point, either, when He comes back, or He calls us home, suffering will end. What He is concerned about while we’re here on earth is our character. That only gets developed through suffering.
