This is the first episode of the Foundation’s 2018 Doing a World of Good podcast series features Kelly Barb and John Cirucci, co-chairs of AIChE's Global Social Initiatives Committee, a working group dedicated to promoting volunteerism and social action within the organization. In the podcast, Kelly and John talk about their own experiences with volunteering, the biggest need in the world today where chemical engineering can make a difference, and what the committee and AIChE is doing to promote and encourage ongoing commitments to societal improvements.
