Buzz Knight is a Radio Executive who has been involved in every aspect of the Radio industry. He is currently Founder and Head of Strategy at Buzz Knight Media. His latest content creation is the new podcast "Takin' A Walk".

Originally from Connecticut, his Radio days began in college at the University of Dayton at the campus radio station. He landed his first Program Director job at WRKI/Danbury, CT while also getting some air time at 102.7 WNEW/New York. His Rock Radio journey continued as he went on to land subsequent Program Director roles for WLVQ/Columbus, WNOR/Norfolk and WZLX/Boston.

Radio company, Greater Media then hired Buzz for the role of Senior VP/Programming. During that time, Buzz was tasked with many responsibilities including cultivating air talent and managing the brand strength of the company’s radio stations.
In part four of this four part AIRCHECK session, Buzz talks about another new project he has….HIS podcast that’s called “Taking A Walk” including big name guests including Doris Kearns Goodwin. Buzz also lets us know a little bit about Buzz Knight Media. His company is focused on developing strong brands for Media companies, creating compelling and engaging content for listeners, implementing powerful programming strategies, while also discovering and growing Talent for the Media industry.
