Peewee Storm football coach Nolan Rohl is exceedingly dedicated to coaching football, something he’s been doing since he was 15 when he first followed his older brother Tyrell onto the bench.

Fast forward 20 years, and the duo are still passionately coaching the Airdrie Storm peewee football program. Nolan head coaches almost year round to give kids from seven to 12 years old an opportunity in the sport he loves, and doesn’t plan on stopping for 30 more years.

The Rohl brothers were also on staff for Team Alberta during the Alberta B.C. Bowl for bantams on May 25, 2019 in Kelowna.

In the second part of the interview, I caught up with Nolan on the phone after the ABC Bowl last spring.

Led by head coach Jermaine Brown, the roster of about 50 players had 11 suited up from Airdrie to beat B.C. 42-33. They came back from a two-score deficit twice.

He gives some game review and a lot of valuable nods to local athletes you parents will love to hear.
