We kick off our 2024 season coverage with a recap of AAC Media Days and a preview of some awesome coverage changes for us, including video format podcasts on YouTube! We discuss UTSA's high expectations going into the season (04:41) and analyze Jeff Traylor's comments on the importance of taking September games seriously in pursuit of the team's goal of making a run at the College Football Playoffs (16:09). One of the hot discussion topics at AAC Media Days was the concept of a conference-wide NIL floor/cap, so we gave our thoughts on the realities and implications of such league rules (19:32). Finally, we touch on UTSA's plans to hire a dedicated staff member to oversee NIL opportunities at UTSA (28:37).
