In this episode of "Growing Up as Boys & Girls," we're spilling the tea on the biggest party pooper of them all: patriarchy. Richa Chadha dives deep into the 7th Grade CBSE Civics Chapter 4 and has some fun – including doodling a doll that she had as a child and performing a dramatic reading of a comic panel as a Punjabi dad. Yeah, that happened.

She talks about how patriarchy affects women's experiences, but how it creates some seriously uncomfortable situations for men too. From toxic masculinity to unrealistic gender expectations, we talk about all the buzzkills that come with living in a patriarchal society.

But we're not just here to complain. Drawing from her experiences as a former child, Richa also shares some tips on how to change things up and challenge those pesky societal norms. Because who says we can't have a good time and smash the patriarchy at the same time?

So grab a drink, kick back, and join us for "Growing Up as Boys & Girls." It's the podcast episode that's way more fun than your average feminist critique.
