Federico Battaglia's life is deeply intertwined with basketball - he's always been a fan of the NBA, he's played basketball at a high level growing up, he follows the sport in the U.S. and globally, and he's now researching the sport in Africa!

In this week's episode, we touch base with Federico, and learn more about his research into basketball in Kenya, with a specific focus on developing basketball in the country, and Africa, more broadly, including its wider impact beyond sports in the country. He's also deeply passionate about working to build out a sporting infrastructure from the ground up, without funding / support from NBA or FIBA.

He also covers the current and future state of basketball in Africa - the Basketball Africa League, NBA / FIBA's involvement and his hopes for the future of the sport in the continent.
