This true crime case is so out there. It's tragic, disturbing, and disgusting… It takes place in Scotland and if you stay till the end there is a recent update.

It's a house of horrors story, in which a disabled 46-year-old mum was made to feel frightened and isolated in her own home for years… it truly is horrifying.

UPDATE

On Monday, 28 November, the awful person pictured below (Lynnette Greenop) denied all the new charges relating to sexual assault at Ayr Sheriff Court, Scotland. At 3:25 pm on Wednesday, 30 November, the jury returned the following verdicts:

• The first charge found not proven by majority.
• Charge two they found her not guilty by majority.
• Charge three they found her not guilty by unanimous verdict.

She was acquitted of the allegations and returned to custody.
