Matthew 13:44-46 June 2, 2024 These parables teach us that the Kingdom of heaven is so valuable that losing everything here on earth, including your life, is a happy trade-off! 1. We learn the Kingdom of God is not visible. 2 Corinthians 4:4 2. We learn the Kingdom of God presents us with a choice. Romans 10:9-13 It is not enough to believe that Jesus lived or that He was a good teacher. We must decide to surrender our lives to Him. 3. We learn the Kingdom of God is the source of joy. Mark 8:34-37 Never believe the lie that anything is better than Jesus! 4. We learn the Kingdom of God may be entered through different circumstances. Peter was called from his nets. Paul was struck down on the road to Damascus. 5. We learn the Kingdom of God is priceless. 1 Corinthians 2:2 Philippians 3:7-9 Jim Elliot, “He is no fool to give up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.” YOU ARE THE TREASURE! Jesus gave up everything to buy you back from the hand of Satan! Hebrews 12:1-2
