Nestled amongst residential houses in Chadstone on Amaroo Street, Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre is a neighbourhood house and op shop that has been providing support and services to local residents in need for over 40 years. Janine speaks about the local programs at Amaroo that make it so special, including their famous Art Gala Night and their community lunches. She also shares the important role that neighbourhood houses like Amaroo have in our community.
