Canada’s Conservative Party, led by Pierre Poilievre seemed poised and ready for the next federal election. That won’t take place until on or before October 2025 but the momentum being built now looks solid.

In this episode Jas talks with Ian Brodie, former Chief of Staff in the Harper Government, who knows what elections need and in particular what Canada’s Conservatives need to do to earn the leadership.

And it’s the weaknesses in the ruling Liberals that seem to show the strengths of the surging Conservatives.

Guest Ian Brodie, BA, MA, PhD, Political Science
Political Scientist, University of Calgary
Former Chief of Staff, Harper Government, 2008
