Two days before JFK was killed, Rose Cheramie/Cherami, pseudonym of Melba Marcades, told law enforcement and everyone else around her that she was part of a plot to kill JFK. Every detail of her branching story was confirmed to be true by US officials, who were asked to look into those details by the lone cop Rose initially confessed to, after it turned out that Rose was right about the assassination. Rose offered to bear witness to the Dallas Police Department, who said they just weren't really interested. She was asked later to bear testimony for the HSCA, by which point she had been killed by a hit-and-run on the highway.
