For our 10th episode – and season finale, Luke, Sam, and John discuss one of the most popular genres of all time; tournament fighters, fighting games, beat ’em ups – however you want to describe them, they all mean one thing – massive arcade fun. The lads look at some of the most popular franchises of all time; Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, and Killer Instinct – as well as a few honorable mentions. It’s certainly a genre that the group have a lot of love for.
We are down to the final episode of the season and John still sits on a big, fat zero in the quiz. For this final edition it’s a double points special! Can Luke regain his lost ground? Can John finally move from the starting line? Will John end the season with a grand total of zero points?
We are going to take a little break before starting season two – but we’ve planned some great episodes. There will be a three week break, with us returning on 6th October (in a slightly earlier time slot for the UK commute, thanks for the feedback), but we have an end of season special that will be released during the break.
