This episode's guest is Ben Justman, the founder of Peony Lane Vineyards. Ben is making some amazing wine using natural processes at the highest winemaking elevation in the country. He is also accepting Bitcoin for the sale of his products and utilizing the circular economy of Bitcoin for everyday transactions.
This episode we discuss what lead Ben to become an entrepreneur and move back to his hometown to chase the dream of making and selling his own wine.
We talk about the challenges he's faced with cultivating his own grapes and the process to make them into wine from scratch. We dive into the business side of the wine trade and how he is hoping to grow his company to better his local community. Lastly, we talk about how Ben fell down the Bitcoin rabbit hole and how that niche has fueled relationships that have helped his company grow.
