In my interview with him, we talk about his origin story, the story of the poet historian Tu Fu from the Tang dynasty in the eighth century and his influence on the album "Travelers' Cloth", the commoditizing of music and art, cultivating community and a common language for collaboration, and approaching art as a sort of shaman of the arts.
