James Broadbent, CEO of Narrative Select, joins me on the show today to talk about all things AI. We dive into the good, the weird, the complicated, and the ambiguous as I pick his brains about the impact of AI on the photography industry. Our community has been buzzing with conversations about this digital revolution lately, so it feels fitting to finally be able to sit down with someone in this world and really get into some of the big questions bouncing around. Previously an international wedding photographer, James has personally lived through all the pain points of being a photographer. Frustrated with how much time he spent behind the computer instead of on a shoot, he created Narrative Select – a predictive AI software – to help photographers cut down on culling time so they can get back to doing what they love. Regardless of how you feel about it, AI is already in our lives, and it feels inevitable that we’ll rely on it more and more to complete our daily tasks. Don’t know how you feel about it? Give this episode a listen. We explore it all.
