Part 1 - Neville James gets a Weather briefing. Starting Friday, a significant plume of Saharan Dust is expected to impact the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico, as reported by the National Weather Service in San Juan. This event, classified as Moderate to Severe, is anticipated to last through at least Sunday morning, bringing with it several environmental and health challenges. Neville is then joined by Kyle Fleming Energy Office Director. The summit, which is presented in partnership with EVNoire, will take place across both University of the Virgin Islands campuses, kicking off on St. Thomas, July 16, at the Innovation Center and on St. Croix, July 19, at the Great Hall. Each island’s summit will feature keynote remarks from leading figures in the electric vehicle industry, as well as lively panel discussions peopled with policymakers, technical experts, and first-hand accounts from EV owners.
