In today's episode, Christian Esguerra takes a look back at the 2012 Scarborough shoal standoff, which is often mentioned by President Rodrigo Duterte in his criticism against critics of his administration's handling on the problem in the West Philippine Sea. That standoff saw the withdrawal of Philippine vessels, but China remained. He speaks with a former ambassador of the Philippines in Washington who was directly involved in the negotiations regarding that incident.

He also discusses how local governments plan to implement President Duterte's arrest order on face mask violators.
