Rapp Report episode 186 Many Christians are living in fear with anxiety. Andrew the Bud discusses what it means to fear God and how to overcome fear and anxiety. The number of Christians living with anxiety is also rising at an alarming rate. According to a study conducted by the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), 32.4% of Christians in America are living with anxiety, which is more than double what it was just ten years ago when only 16.8% suffered from such an ailment! In a world where success is measured by an individual's ability to keep up and do more than they were able to the day before, it can be difficult for someone of any faith tradition not to feel overwhelmed at some point or another. The number of Christians suffering from anxiety has also been increasing alarmingly over recent years; one third say that their own stress level impacts how often they attend church services on Sundays as well as who goes out into the community. There is a significant number of Christians in this world who are living with fear and anxiety. If you're wondering if it's possible for someone to be both Christian and have these types of feelings, the answer is yes! Many people - including many Christians - live their lives feeling anxious because they don't feel like themselves anymore or that they're not doing enough for others. These fears can take over our minds so much until we’re physically sick from them; however, there are ways to heal your mind as well as strengthen yourself against future attacks on your mental health.
