What are you going to do when the truth of your story that you stand under IS BLIND?

The truth you tell yourself about your situation

The truth you tell others about your situation

The truth that you have convinced yourself to be absolutely correct…could be BLIND!

If you don’t believe it, tell your story to someone who was there!

What if you told your story to someone who was there? Would they tell same story?

You have given so much power to your story that your story now JUSTIFIES YOUR CONDITION!It was not his lameness that stopped him! It was his story that he told himself that stopped him!

Everyone else said she was going to die. There was no doctor, no hospital, no CVS, there was no medicine, none of these could help her…religion said that she was unclean.
She was blind to the truth of her own story until she decided to change it! The Bible says that she “said to herself”…“If I could only touch the hem of his garment, I’d be made whole!”

[Translation of “she said to herself” = said it over and over again]

When you REPEAT a new story, you DELETE an old one!

Maybe it’s time to get a NEW STORY!

You can’t get a new story until your eyes are opened and you are ENLIGHTENED BY THE REAL TRUTH

What I would hate is to get old and get to the last moment of my life to wonder what would have happened if I would have only:

Stuck it out; fought through it; went after it

I would rather go after it and fail…I’d rather climb up and trip…I’d rather walk on the water and sink than to stay in the boat and wonder what would have happened!

Some people are so bent on “playing it safe” that they don’t realize that “playing it safe” is a result of being blind to the POSSIBILITIES OF WHAT COULD HAPPEN IF THEY WOULD CHANGE THEIR STORY!

2 Kings 7:3-8 [NLT] – 3 Now there were four men with leprosy sitting at the entrance of the city gates. “Why should we sit here waiting to die?” they asked each other. 4 “We will starve if we stay here, but with the famine in the city, we will starve if we go back there. So we might as well go out and surrender to the Aramean army. If they let us live, so much the better. But if they kill us, we would have died anyway.” 5 So at twilight they set out for
the camp of the Arameans. But when they came to the edge of the camp, no one was there! 6 For the Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the clatter of speeding chariots and the galloping of horses and the sounds of a
great army approaching. “The king of Israel has hired the Hittites and Egyptians to attack us!” they cried to one another. 7 So they panicked and ran into the night, abandoning their tents, horses, donkeys, and everything else, as they fled for their lives. 8 When the men with leprosy arrived at the edge of the camp, they went into one tent after another, eating and drinking wine; and they carried off silver and gold and clothing.
