Thesis Statement: Western European imperialism resulted in the exploitation of labor and resources on non-industrialized nations in African and Asia. This benefitted the Europeans, either by exploiting the labor of indigenous peoples to gather resources, or to expand the markets to yield the most profit, and causing economic decline in Africa and Asia.
