WASHINGTON (AP) — All the bashing of free-trade agreements in the presidential race has created difficulties for one of President Barack Obama's top priorities for his final year in office — a trade agreement known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership. On the campaign trail, the leading Republican and Democratic presidential contenders agree on almost nothing — except for their dislike of the TPP. Donald Trump calls the trade deal "insanity." Democrat Bernie Sanders describes it as "disastrous." Some Democratic supporters of the agreement have come around to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's position — that it's best to wait until after the elections to have a vote during a lame-duck session of Congress.
