Mike Leach’s Legacy

Mike Leach died on Monday, Dec. 12, at the age of 61 after complications from a heart condition. Leach was in his third season coaching Mississippi State after stints at Washington State and Texas Tech. He was a successful coach winning more than 150 games in 21 seasons, but his impact on the game goes much deep than wins and losses. Leach and the Air Raid offense he ran helped revolutionize the passing game at all levels of football. Chris Brown, the author of Smart Football and The Art of Smart Football, joins AP’s Ralph Russo to discuss Leach’s enormous and lasting influence on the sport.
