Salams and ahlan! Apologies it has been ages since I've posted a new episode. I've been working on a new podcast series called Muslim Money which I'll be launching soon. In one of the episodes, I chat with the phenomenal Hassan Jivraj who is a London-based Financial journalist primarily focusing on Middle Eastern debt capital markets, Islamic finance and international political economy. We initially connected discussing Islamic financing issues but then quickly found out that we both have a love for the Arabic language! In this episode, Hassan talks about his background, how he studied Arabic and his career trajectory into the world of financial journalism. I hope you enjoy this Arab-inglisi episode and please share it with other Arabic students and people interested in Islamic finance.

For those of you who want that little bit extra, join our private Arabic Telegram Channel where I'll be sharing clips, quizzes and articles that will help you engage with the Arabic language and learn more. You'll also get access to unedited episodes covering different aspects of the Arabic language. Subscribe today: https://anchor.fm/arabicwithimran/subscribe
