The spotted lanternfly is like a larger and more damaging version of the lady beetle, with its distinctive spotted appearance and a belief that it can light up like a firefly. It's fascinating to learn that the lanternfly is actually a leaf hopper, not a fly, and I will be describing its beauty and life cycle in detail.
