About Lori Pratico
Lori Pratico is a Philadelphia-born artist, non-profit leader, muralist, author, and speaker. She founded Girl Noticed, a non-profit organization that has launched a nationwide mural project celebrating the accomplishments of girls and women. The project has created over 35 murals, held dozens of workshops, and partnered with local organizations to raise awareness about issues such as Asperger’s Syndrome, racism, poor body image, domestic violence, and more.
Lori is a self-taught artist who has spent over 25 years in the art industry, using her art as a vehicle to empower women and advocate for inclusion. Her artwork inspires females to believe in themselves and notice their value, and she is a strong believer in giving back to the community. Lori is also the Art Director of the Florida Youth Pride Coalition and facilitates art therapy programs for children and young adults with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
Lori's work has been recognized by Juxtapoz and Professional Artist magazines, and her name has been added to the American Art Collectors Portrait Artist Directory. She is a member of the South Florida Artist Association and the Portrait Society of America. Lori's dedication to empowering girls and women through her art and giving back to the community is an inspiration to all who know her.
