On this episode of “As The Rhyme Goes On”, John and Nolawee are joined with Jacob Rupp to talk about KIDS SEE GHOSTS' self titled album.

Kids See Ghosts (stylized KIDS SEE GHOSTS) is an American hip hop supergroup composed of musicians Kanye West and Kid Cudi. The duo released their debut album, Kids See Ghosts, on June 8, 2018, through GOOD Music.

Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi (born January 30, 1984), better known by his stage name Kid Cudi, is an American recording artist and actor from Cleveland, Ohio. Cudi first gained major recognition following the release of his first official full-length project, a mixtape titled A Kid Named Cudi (2008). The mixtape caught the attention of American rapper-producer Kanye West, who subsequently signed Cudi to his GOOD Music label imprint in late 2008. Cudi has since gone on to launch his own record label imprints, the now-dissolved Dream On and current independent label, Wicked Awesome Records. Initially a rapper, Cudi has since added singer, songwriter, record producer, guitarist, music video director and film composer to his repertoire.

Kanye Omari West is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, entrepreneur and fashion designer. Born in Atlanta and raised in Chicago, West first became known as a producer for Roc-A-Fella Records in the early 2000s, producing and co-producing hit singles for artists such as Jay-Z and Talib Kweli. Intent on pursuing a solo career as a rapper, West released his debut album The College Dropout in 2004 to widespread critical and commercial success, and founded the record label GOOD Music. He went on to pursue a variety of styles on subsequent albums Late Registration (2005), Graduation (2007), and the polarizing 808s & Heartbreak (2008). In 2010, he released his fifth album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy to rave reviews from critics, and followed with the collaborative album Watch the Throne (2011) with Jay-Z. West released his abrasive sixth album Yeezus to further critical praise in 2013, and his seventh album The Life of Pablo in 2016, noted for its fragmented musical style. West's eighth studio album, ye, was released in 2018.

Kids See Ghosts (stylized in all caps) is the eponymous debut studio album by American hip hop duo Kids See Ghosts, composed of Kanye West and Kid Cudi. It was released on June 8, 2018 by GOOD Music and Def Jam Recordings. The album features a guest appearance from Ty Dolla Sign and a featured sample of Louis Prima as well as uncredited vocals by Pusha T, Mos Def and Mr Hudson. The album is primarily produced by the duo, alongside frequent collaborators Dot da Genius, Mike Dean and Plain Pat, with additional contributions by Jeff Bhasker, Andrew Dawson, Boogz, Evan Mast and André 3000. The album’s cover art was designed by Takashi Murakami, who previously designed the cover art for West’s Graduation in 2007.
