We are joined by Carl Safina , Carl explores our relationship with nature, and the relationship between nature and human dignity. His more recent work also focuses on the questions of how animals think and feel. in This conversation we discuss animal consciousness, the conversation of consciousness is really a difficult conversation and especially when it comes to animals. What level of intellengce do animals have? How much do they really feel and know there surroundings? What is the variable we use in our mind to define what we class as conscious? Are animals really thinking and feeling? What's going on inside the brains of animals? Can we know what, or if, they're thinking and feeling?
Theres a lot of weird stuff that animals and planets are doing on the planet that we don’t fully understand a lot of very interesting and contresal questions that we certinlty wanted to have a conversation about and we both certainly feel to fully try and understand this crazy human exercise or ride we are on, we really feel we need to try and understand the things that are also on this ride with us
