This week on the Ascend podcast we bring to you our new feature on the podcast called observing our thoughts. This new feature to the podcast is really going to give you a lot of interesting insight and value. We always have new thoughts, questions, new concepts, new tools, new ideas, new philosophy's we are playing with, or toying with in our mind's so we are now going to share them all with you.

In my experience, one of the keys to personal development and ultimately self-understanding is observing your own thoughts, observing what your heart feels and what your body experiences. tapping into and developing this self-observing system is essential for mental and spiritual growth. Just as physical exercise is important to our well-being, regular self-observation practice is beneficial to our mental well-being. It is through anliziling our own thoughts that we become aware of our patterns and preoccupations. By becoming more aware of our habitual modes of thinking, feeling and behaving we are better able to direct our attention and make empowering, conscious choices. Monitoring our thought-life enhances our experience of reality. When we practice self-observation we are becoming more aware of the “thinker” behind the thought.
