Insights from the episode:

  • Don't reinvent the wheel, it's worth researching where else has it been done before, who else has done it before and can I use those learnings to create something different.
  • Put yourself out there and showcase your work, Just the work itself isn't going to carry itself.
  • Take a step back and evaluate, you don't have to chart your career only when you are at cross roads or on hindsight.
  • Be deliberate about finding a hobby. If you put your mind to it, you can stretch yourself.
  • Ask for help, sometimes work will come first. Stop feeling guilty, you cannot have it all.
