Avenue Red was on recording duties as two of Manchester's finest oldskool house heads got together for a dig through the archives. This was at Damo B's long-running regular event, Nothing But The Truth held @ Eastern Bloc, Manchester from the hours of 22:00-03:00. This recording captures the proceedings after the first 40 minutes had passed by. For those who don't know... Damo B is the presenter and producer of The Outta Limits Radio Show, exclusively on Manchester's Unity Radio 92.8 FM and online on www.unityradio.fm every Thursday night from 1am until 3am UK Time. "Techno, House and Electronica all up in the mix" is both the catchphrase and the solid gold truth. Damo also runs the burgeoning new label named Emotec, which has pressed EPs from MOY, BufoBufo, Auto Sound City and Rain & White Transit Van to date. LHK (real name Liam Swarbrick) states that he is generally "retired" these years, but Damo helps to give him a platform on the odd occasion to keep his hand in the game. LHK released over 20 ace house records from 1998-2006 on cult labels including Glasgow Underground, Leeds label 20:20 Vision, Toronto label 83 West Records and the San Francisco-based Tango Recordings (run by fellow Mancunian Tony Hewitt), among other labels.
