Laura Ploenzke, one of the Avon Lake Public Library’s Adult Services Librarians, talks with host Jen Miller about her work in the Library’s history room and the tools and classes offered to help with genealogy research.

Christmas trees will be collected the first and second full weeks of January. Ornaments, tinsel, etc. must be removed and the tree cannot be encased in plastic. Trees that are taller than six feet must be cut in half.
