Interview with Max Xie, owner of the Asian Foodie Store with his wife Penny Zhu. They are recent immigrants to New Brunswick from China on the NB PNP Investor Program and they see big opportunities for entrepreneurs in Saint John and NB. He speaks of his plan to develop a platform for other entrepreneurs, using a device for WeChat and AliPay to allow his Chinese customers to pay with their Chinese accounts and have Canadian dollars deposited in his, and how his PhD in philosophy has given him the skills to succeed in the retail business.
