Have you ever wondered how your favorite movie was created and put together? Join me as I sit down with Myles Matsuno to discuss the process of producing a movie, from coming up with great ideas to turning them into a masterpiece and the processes involved in obtaining distribution.

We also discussed coping with one's inner critic as a filmmaker and finding a balance between the difficulties of pushing oneself to make a film and not feeling like a failure. He shared his views on the film industry and how a filmmaker’s personal style enhances a movie.

He highlighted the negative effects that social media may have on the creative process, how to prevent it, and how to keep the creative flow going. We discussed his challenges, lessons learned, and how training for marathons helped him focus and develop as a better filmmaker.
