BKK #32: How does a squirrel respond to an arrogant mountain who looks down upon her and tries to make her feel small and insignificant. What wisdom does she share with the mountain and what lesson is in store for us?
In this episode, Mahwash introduces the kids to Allama Muhammad Iqbal, the Poet of the East, and goes over Iqbal’s famous poem ‘Aik Pahaar Aur Gulehri’ for kids. Iqbal has written numerous poems for the kids with very strong messages, and Mahwash tries to explain this poem in simple language to the kids.
Iqbal is one of Mahwash’s favourite poets and she hopes that it will motivate kids to read more of Iqbal’s work, and take inspiration from him, just like she does.
Kids learn Urdu words for Mountain, Squirrel, Arrogance, Wisdom, Intelligence, and Step among others.
