In this Back Chat One On One, I'm speaking to Waterford's John Hayes of Special Branch Carvings, a man who has really found his niche. By his own admission, John was at a bit of a loss to know what to do with his life at one stage, until discovering this talent he has. If you're not from Waterford but come here to visit, you'll be in awe at the magnificent Dragonslayer Sword, carved by John, from a single tree. With a chainsaw! John is a great talker, articulate and passionate about his Family, his Work & his County He also gave me one of the best pieces of advice I've ever heard in this interview.
