Chants of "sacked in the morning" could be heard from some of the away contingent on Saturday night as AFC Bournemouth succumbed to a 2-0 defeat to Brentford in a performance which, whilst improved, was still far from the levels the Cherries fans expect.

The contrast of Philip Billing going straight down the tunnel versus Jefferson Lerma's extended applause indicates that this is a team with a number of different objectives and ideas.

Gary O'Neil defended the performance and criticised the referee in a familiar post-match routine, but despite the truth in his issues with Jarred Gillett, ultimately, the right result occurred, and as a result, Cherries balance even more precariously above the drop zone.

Sam, Tigz and Tom are recording at our brand new home for the weekly podcast - The Basement Studios in Bournemouth. Visit their website at: https://www.basementsudios.co.uk/
