Este soporte se utiliza para mantener el tubo sobre una vertical o sopre una ménsula, aunque podría ser utilizada también en soportes tipo trapecio. Se coloca como una fijación al tubo. Este tiene un enemigo muy poderoso que a veces le quita el trabajo, la varilla sinfín, la cual instalan como u hook, pero esto no es correcto ya que la varilla sin fin tiene otro utilizad.
