Mubarak is joined by Basel as they discuss Arne Slot’s perfect start to his Liverpool career, focusing on the defeat of arch rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford, thanks to the incredibly talented Ryan Gravenberch and of course the usual suspects Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

They then head to London. First at The Emirates, where Declan Rice was sent off as Arsenal were forced to a draw by Brighton & Hove Albion, then to The London Olympic Stadium, as Erling Haaland bagged yet another hatty to send City top of the table heading into this season’s first international break.

Lastly, they gave their two cents on Saud Abdulhamid, who became the first Saudi Arabian to sign for a Serie A club after moving to Roma, before finishing it off with a break down of the new UEFA Champions League format.
