This week’s interview is with the youngest drummer that I have had the pleasure to chat with so far, a drummer that I suspect will become very well known in the not too distant future, Lachie Durrans! Sixteen year old Lachie is the drummer for the original 3 piece Adelaide band 'The Birds Are Spies' who last year won the RockFest 2020 Best Band Award. Lachie, who attends Sacred Heart College, was also the winner of the RockFest 2020 Best Drummer Award! I would like to thank the parent who suggested that I interview Lachie as well as Lachie’s parents for giving me permission to chat with their son for this podcast series, The Birds Are Spies for allowing me to include their music in the interview, and Lachie for making time to chat with me.
