Hello music fans! Episode 14 is here! And thank you for checking it out! Hope all is well where you are.
Nick Kazonis, from the band Caught On Cline spent some time with me recently. We had been trying to some together for a while, and we finally made it happen. And it was well worth the wait!
Caught On Cline is a Chicago-land group consisting of 4 very accomplished musicians. We discuss their diversified musical backgrounds including Nick’s Greek heritage, his playing of the Greek instrument, the bouzouki, and how their individual influences provides the foundation for their music. We dig into some the songs in the Caught On Cline catalog including a recent single, Shut The Funk Up.
We have a fun discussion about the name of the band and why Nick is not a fan of set lists.
This is band is all about promoting healing, love, unity, and positivity. I love that ethos.
So without further ado…let’s get to it!
Songs in the podcast:
"Dawn" from the 2022 single (intro)
"Sweet Pea" from the album, Unity and Diversity (30:39)
"I Can't Live Without You" from the album I. The Next Set (39:31)
"Shut The Funk Up" from the 2022 single (48:56)
