In 2017, Mammoth Tusk Hunters were searching a cave deep in the Siberian Permafrost along the bank of the Siberian River. They made an amazing discovery 10-12m below the permafrost, they found an almost perfectly preserved Male Cave Lion Cub, Boris, from the Ice Age. The Mammoth Tusk Hunters returned to the same cave in 2018 found a second this time female Cave Lion Cub, Sparta, less than 15m from the first in even better condition.
