This whole virtual podcast thing has really opened up the world for us, allowing us to share a beer with people we otherwise may not have been able to. Recently we connected with Will of Tribus Brewing in Milford, Connecticut, and we were immediately taken by their quality photography, slick social and delicious-sounding beers. So of course, we were excited to learn more about these guys and set up a podcast.

We chatted with Sebastian and Matt, two of three of the co-founders (Tribus means "three" in Latin) about how the brewery came about, the craft beer scene in Connecticut and how it's an overlooked region, their barrel program, and even their Top 5 rappers (we don't get to talk to fellow Hip Hop fans here often so Cee jumped at the opportunity). We crushed three of their beers - Biër, their flagship Pils; Benji, a Citra-forward NEIPA; and Slab, their brand new DIPA. Right at the end, Matt cracked open their cherry and lime sour, Zazz, which we broke open right after. This was a great one, enjoy!
