Meet Dario Forzato! Dario Forzato is a composer, songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist whose love for music and sounds transcends any genre and style. He has a certificate in Film Scoring from UCLA Extension in Los Angeles, a bachelor’s degree in “Music Sciences and Technologies” at Università degli Studi di Milano, and earned several diplomas in Arrangement, Theory, and Guitar Performance from many prestigious classical and modern music academies in Milano, such as the Conservatory “G. Verdi,” CPM and NAM. After many years of touring across Europe, the US, and Asia, Dario started writing and producing music for visual media. His work has ranged from writing and performing the theme for Ubisoft’s best-selling video game ‘Rocksmith,’ to composing the theme songs for Ambie-nominated podcasts “Bunga Bunga” and “Do No Harm” (Wondery), as well as scoring a variety of independent films, documentaries, and television shows. Dario has scored the feature films ‘Sharkskin’ (2015), ‘Scrambled’ (2023), and ‘It Hits You When You Know It’ (2020), as well as the upcoming Hulu Originals documentary ‘We Live Here’ (Fall 2023) and feature documentary ‘A Long Hard Streak’ (late 2023). He also recently co-wrote and produced the song “Zero Gravity” for the feature documentary ‘Zero Gravity’ (2021), performed by artist Willow Stephens. After winning Best Original Score at the LA Shorts Awards in 2016, he started working on a variety of projects like composing and producing music for the promotional campaigns of hit TV shows like The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Masked Singer, Duncanville, and scoring the Main Title sequences for TV shows like ‘Called To The Wild’ (National Geographic, 2021), ‘Man With A Van’ (Discovery ID, 2020), ‘Mördermann’ (Filmpool, 2020), ‘Top Elf’ (Nickelodeon, 2019-20), and ‘The Healer’ (A&E, 2017). In August 2022, Dario released the EP “Anomalie,” for which he received two nominations at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards for his compositions “One of a Kind” and “Two Under.” “Anomalie” is an experimental cinematic album where Dario explores and pushes the boundaries of sound and music: a unique blend of organic vocabulary mixed with elements borrowed from the syntaxes of the world, cinematic, and electronic music.
