My Pinterest Journey

When I started with this Pinterest Journey, I had 1K Page Views to now having nearly 110K Page Views in just 30 Days, from November to December by leveraging Pinterest.

Pinterest is not about growing your followers but to engage & leverage it's platform to have potential customers, subscribers & followers click on the link from your Pin to lead them to your Instagram Page, You Tube Channel, Blog, Website, PodCast & etc.

One of my Pins, from My Nail Designs Board has reached close to 90K Impressions & those impressions are how many people have seen this post just from me leveraging Pinterest.

How do I create my Pins?

I use Canva or Over to create Pins. Both Canva & Over have Pinterest Layouts at your disposal to post your created Pins to Pinterest.

One of the most important things to remember is to use Vertical Long Pins such as Pins that are 735 X 1200 to engage your potential customers, followers & subscribers.

Pins should either be showing your audience something such as an infographic, teaching them something or going step by step over a look or skin care routine, for example or showing a look that you created with an attention grabbing title that leaves your audience wanting to learn more. Think about the value you want to provide when creating your Pin. You want to be viewed as an authority in Beauty, Blogging, Podcasting, Your Business or as an Entrepreneur. It gives you access to potential customers & followers or subscribers.

In addition, you can connect your Pin with a URL so visitors can automatically visit your Instagram Page, You Tube Channel, Blog, Website, PodCast &/or etc.

Important Tips for Pins

Pins need to be consistent with your brand.

They need to have the same theme, colors & fonts. Make sure your photos are bright & engaging. Make sure they have a title that creates curiosity.

Think about the Pins you like or save? What Pins inspire you or make you want to click on a link for more information? What does their title say? How is the Pin designed?
