Derrick DePriest leans into challenges. From teaching himself how to kick a football in his childhood, drastically changing his pitching delivery as a college student-athlete, or switching careers, Derrick is willing to dare the odds. In 1999, Derrick led all college pitchers with an impressive 1.71 ERA and was drafted by the Montreal Expos the following year. Today, Derrick lives with his wife and two daughters in Cary, NC. I get to work with him as we recently launched Bull Benefits, an employee benefits consultancy firm where he serves as our Sr. Underwriter and Account Manager.
