Marie is 27 years old and was born in the Philippines.

She currently resides in Hong Kong and was recently married in November of 2020.

She converted to Islam on July 6th, 2020.

How her friends would go to the mosque and she would go to church
That through her friends who were Muslim, she was able to learn more about Islam
The research that she did prior to becoming Muslim
The beauty of watching her friends pray
Some of the difficulties she encountered with learning wudu (ablution), and with being shy at first to pray in the mosque
The day of her conversion and what led to her finally taking her shahada
The positive and negative reactions from her family, and friends, after she became Muslim
The positive impacts her conversion has had on her life, including increase patience and the ability to be more forgiving
