Sydney / Eora-based experimental indie band A.D.K.O.B (A Different Kind Of Busy) have been embracing experimentation in their music since bursting onto the scene with their self-titled debut EP in 2015. Comprising of Mark Piccles, Jane Doutney, Andy Clews and Andrew “Quiz” Quizon, the indie outfit are known for their unapologetically eccentric approach to songwriting that is self-described as a “patchwork quilt of sounds, genres and influences”. This episode I chat with A.D.K.O.B about the release of their debut album 'Defender'. We chat about how thinking is over-rated and why the band chose a minute long song as the opening track to their album.
