No other filmmaker working today has captured the female contribution to contemporary art as much as Robert Adanto. His films include “The Rising Tide” which focused on the Chinese contemporary art scene. His second feature length film was about contemporary art inside and outside of Iran (Pearls on the Ocean Floor), his 2015 release (The F Word) captured the demise artists working in Bushwick, Brooklyn, and his most recent film Born Just Now is about artist Marta Jovanovic.
