At the start of the pandemic, all sports had to figure out a way to keep their athletes safe. Unlike some Division 1 conferences, the Southwestern Athletic Conference and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, which are made up of multiple Historically Black Universities and Colleges, decided to postpone the regular football season.
